Service Standards


Service excellence is a priority for the LTB. Our service standards keep us focused on providing our clients with fair, effective, and timely dispute resolution. You can expect the LTB to meet these service standards 80% of the time.

  • All applications, except those dealing with an above guideline rent increase (AGIs) or applications to vary the amount of a rent reduction (A4s), will have a hearing scheduled within 25 business days.
  • Orders for all applications, except AGIs and A4s, will be issued within 5 business days.
